The Day I Left My Linux Machine Running: A Love Story with OpenClaw & Hermes

13:55–14:35 CET · Moonshine · Track: AI

It was February 5th. I was boarding a flight to South Africa, leaving behind nothing but a beefy Linux machine named pupurabbux and a restless curiosity about automation. Little did I know that by February 7th, my entire world would shift on its axis. Join me for a whirlwind journey from standard engineering to AI-fueled enlightenment as I recount how Hermes and OpenClaw didn't just optimize my workflows—they redefined my reality. This is a story of serendipity, digital alchemy, and the day I realized that my server at home was doing more than just running scripts—it was running my life.
