DevFest.cz announces full schedule

DevFest.cz, a developer conference making its return after a long break, is just around the corner. Following the recent announcement that this year's event will be expanding to two days for the first time, it's now time to reveal the rest of the lineup. The organizing team, in collaboration with the partners, is also launching ticket contests, so there will be plenty of chances to win a free entry for yourself, a friend, or even your grandma!

More names added to the program

"Choosing from so many amazing submissions was a huge challenge for the organizing team," says Eliška Čejpová, the content lead. "The Call for Papers was incredibly strong, and we went through every submission with great respect. We truly hope everyone will find something for themselves. Cybersecurity enthusiasts, for example, can look forward to the talk by Tomáš Sušánka (CTO of Trezor). The title might sound complicated, but Tomáš is a fantastic speaker who can make even a complex topic understandable for anyone. Or the talk by Hawra Milani, who focuses on research into cyberbullying and represents a strong voice from the Women Techmakers community," Eliška adds.

"A very accessible topic will be presented by Sven Peters, whose talks are always relevant and packed with useful information for anyone who's ever worked in a team of at least two people. As for some of the 'hidden gems' of the program, we highly recommend the talks by Eeva-Jonna Panula, who works at Oura, or Kjell de Ruiter—our independent panel of reviewers rated his submission the best of all."

"All other confirmed speakers have already been announced on our website," reminds Jiří Bartušek, the main organizer.

A conference that thinks of everyone

DevFest.cz is all about bringing people together, and the organizing team's goal is to ensure everyone can enjoy the event. We partnered with a vetted childcare provider, so that parents can enjoy the talks and networking without worry. Children will be able to play in two rooms over 200 m2 big, full of toys and games, along with multilingual professional nannies.

"We know how difficult it is to balance a career with family; we have kids ourselves. That's why we are making DevFest.cz as accessible as possible for parents," explains Bára Drbohlavová, the event producer.

Attendees can also look forward to a traditional prize game, a partner zone, and a few surprises. "We'll be revealing those soon. I recommend keeping an eye on our newsletter," Bára adds.

Of course, the afterparty will also be held in the unique Gabriel Loci venue.

Win a ticket? Absolutely!

And finally, the most important thing: don't forget to follow the social media channels and newsletters of our conference partners! "In collaboration with them, we've prepared several free ticket contests. You can find links to all our partners on our website," says Jiří Bartušek.

"Just be aware that some contests will be running in partner newsletters. This includes newsletters like Zprávy z Lesa or PeopleOps," adds Kateřina Raszka, marketing lead.
