DevFest.cz launches ticket sales and looks for speakers

DevFest.cz, the traditional community event for all developers, geeks, and tech enthusiasts of all kinds, has just launched Early Bird tickets and opened the call for presentations.

What is DevFest.cz?

DevFest.cz is a packed technology conference where tech enthusiasts of all types gather for expert talks, hands-on workshops, and a legendary interactive game. After a COVID break that took the event off the scene for several years, this conference is finally returning with a proper dose of inspiration.

"D-Day (as in DevFest.cz) will take place on October 24, 2025. We'll reveal the exact venue later, but we can confirm it will be in Prague," says Jiří Bartušek, the main organizer of the event.

Tickets start at 899 CZK

"The first wave offers the best price at which you can get a ticket for DevFest.cz 2025," explains Bára Drbohlavová, who handles production. "We're trying to keep the entry fee accessible for everyone who's genuinely interested in technology," she adds.

Early Bird tickets start at 1199 CZK including VAT for individuals, with a student discount bringing the price down to 899 CZK. The "Company" ticket, which also offers payment via invoice, costs 1999 CZK.

Each ticket includes the full-day conference with the unique interactive game, afterparty, and one day of workshops.

The organizers recommend not hesitating with your purchase – the number of tickets at this price is very limited. "Once the first wave sells out, the price will automatically increase," warns Bára. Interested attendees can purchase tickets directly at www.devfest.cz.

Will you shine on stage?

The organizing team is simultaneously opening the Call for Papers (CfP). They're looking for enthusiastic speakers from a wide spectrum of areas – Mobile (Android, iOS, Flutter), Web (PWAs, Angular), Cloud, AI/ML, or Cybersecurity. Topics that go beyond IT, such as work-life balance or community building, are also suitable for the conference lineup.

"Presenting to people at DevFest is like presenting to friends – you feel you're among your own and aren't afraid of anything," says Dominik Šimoník, Google Developer Expert.

"We want to include diverse topics in the program, from practical development experience to the latest trends in technology," explains Eliška Čejpová, content coordinator. "We welcome both experienced speakers and new faces who will bring fresh perspectives to the agenda."

Those interested in presenting on an interesting topic and sharing their experience can apply until the end of March. "Simply fill out the CfP form on our website. We'll consider each proposal carefully," concludes Eliška.
