Marek Kuruc

Quantum AI Engineer

Marek Kuruc is a Quantum AI Engineer and researcher at Aricoma, working at the intersection of quantum computing and artificial intelligence.

He is an IBM-certified Qiskit developer and IBM quantum Advocate, focusing on the practical use of both today’s noisy quantum systems and future fault-tolerant quantum computers.

His work spans quantum software development, quantum program optimization, quantum machine learning, and the application of artificial intelligence to quantum computing workflows. He has published research on quantum neural networks executed on current noisy quantum hardware, exploring their capabilities and limitations in real-world conditions.

He works with quantum computing platforms including IBM Quantum, IQM, and IonQ, gaining hands-on experience across different hardware architectures and software ecosystems. He is also involved with NMR-based desktop quantum computers, helping bring accessible, hands-on quantum computing technology to universities and secondary schools.

His broader goal is to bridge the gap between quantum research and practical applications, making emerging quantum technologies useful, accessible, and ready for the next generation of developers and researchers.
